As discussed, Itinerary is as follows:

 

8.45am (sharp) Depart Port Chalmers Cruise Ship Terminal 

 

Straight to Larnach Castle with Peninsula Views and commentary along the way

 

Arrive Larnach Castle around 9.45am

 

10am Private Guided Castle Tour (to beat the big groups off your ship) 

 

11am Garden walk either self guided or guided by me

 

11.45am lunch at the ballroom cafe at Larnach Castle

 

1.00pm depart Larnach Castle

 

Scenic Peninsula (part of the same road, then turn off and enjoy a bit of the coast and rural area) 

 

2.00pm Private Guided Tour at Olveston

 

3.00pm Depart Olveston for the Railway Station (closes at 4pm), Signal Hill and Baldwin St (Steepest St) - unlikely to have time for the Botanic Gardens but let's see on the day. 

 

5.30pm Return to ship via scenic route (a little earlier given that we are leaving a little earlier in the morning to fit the availability of the Castle and Olveston)
